Rippler FAQs

    Rippler is an application that connects people through a specialized field of enquiry and communication. Rippler is a platform specializes in people asking about “who knows who” or “Who knows what” or ‘Who wants What”..etc. This is a closed circuit that only allows your phone contacts to communicate with you and vice versa. The idea is basically an exchange of information and knowledge from and within people you know and trust. It’s been always a relief getting a piece of information from an acquaintance or a friend, rather than an unknown source. Rippler deals with people searching about a certain matter that the answer can only come from a phone contact.

    The only personal information we ask from you during registration is your e-mail address and phone number.  You create your own Username and Password.  To avoid scam attempts we recommend that you DO NOT use your email address as your Username. Kindly note that your username will only be viewed by you, others will see your Q & A under the name they saved you as in their phone book. Please note that once you have completed the registration form and clicked on SUBMIT, you will receive an account activation link via e-mail. Just click on verify, and you will be all set. If you do NOT receive the activation e-mail within a few minutes, please check your junk/spam folder and, if you still don't see it, check your spam settings.  The default setting for some Internet providers is to automatically delete junk mail before you are able to view it.

    You can create a question by tapping the blue circular icon. Ask your contacts questions openly or anonymously. Set time expiry to your questions depending on urgency. The ASK icon shows questions you have asked your contacts. Your questions will be displayed in time urgency descending order. When you get an answer, you can chat and attach for more details.

    Just Tap the Answer icon which will show questions created by your contacts. You can answer openly or anonymously, as well as chat and attach for more details.

    We wanted to conserve the privacy of the user when using Rippler. We have added the anonymous function which will hide the identity of the user when creating a question of sensitive or private matter, furthermore, you can answer question anonymously if needed. The Anonymous option is available on the “Create a Question Form”. Before starting any chat, you will have the option to be anonymous or visible during a chat.
